Weekend In Iowa

We spent last weekend at Regan & Katie's house in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. It was great to see their new parsonage, and meet baby Carson for the first time! Jamie wrote a song for Carson's baby dedication on Sunday morning, and we led worship and sang "I Am With You" at Regan's installation service that afternoon.

Emma spent part of yesterday making this house, complete with a couch and TV!

Little Ballerina . . .

Micayla's first day of ballet class was Saturday! She learned the first two positions, how to gallop, and how to walk on her tiptoes "like a ballerina"! She loved it!

Jamie's 30th Party!!

We had the 70's theme going,
so most everyone dressed accordingly.
Hilarity ensues...


The local call girl showed up. She's the one in black shown here.
Answers to Jess, or "Lula the Call Girl." We also
had hippies. At least that's what I think the girl in
blue was going for. Why else would anyone EVER
wear a headband and dress that way?

We had rockers. This one hasn't hit the big time yet, but
give him a few years.

We had old rockers who wish they would have hit the big
time, but it's too late for them. Poor saps.

We had Friends trivia. I'd call these guys geeks, but I
would be a huge hypocrite.

We had gamblers. God help their souls.

We had tools. Two shining examples below.

And we had grown ups who aren't really
grown up. His hair may be falling out, but
his immaturity is clinging on for dear life.

Hands down, best birthday party I've ever had. Thank you to all that made that night so special for me. And Lula, call me later.
