Painting at the new house is almost done! There's just a little touchup to do in Mickie's room and our room tomorrow. After we move in, we'll paint the hallway and entryway. Can't believe we move in two days!!!!!

Painting Party!!!

We had a great group to help us paint the new house today! We painted the kitchen/dining room green, and the living room pimpernel (not 'Pimp Red', as Tyler thought, but sort of a dark burgandy). It looks pretty great! Thanks to Melanie, Nate, Tyler, Ryan, and Hayley!!!

On the Move Again . . .

We've been in our current living situation for 2 years and four months, and that's just too darn long!!! So we're moving - in two weeks - to a beautiful 4 bedroom house in southwest Lincoln, right across the street from some of our best friends! Big fenced backyard, an office for Jamie, a basement - what more could we ask for? Well, it's not ours, but our landlord is letting us paint! So anybody who's free and in the area this weekend to paint or the 21-22 to move - come on down!!!!

Pumpkin Patch! October 2, 2006

Yesterday we spent the morning at Sunwest Farms. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch, picked out our pumpkins, and got candy and caramel apples in the little store! Emma and Eli jumped in the bounce house. Somehow we ended up with more pirate themed accessories than pumpkin ones, but whatever.

Worlds of Fun! September 23, 2006

We spent this Saturday at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City to celebrate Emma's 8th birthday! Her best friend, Lauren, and Lauren's family came with us! We had a great day. Emma and Eli loved Camp Snoopy, and Micayla even went on a couple of rides!
