Workin' on some Christmas Spirit

We got back from a great Fairbury Thanksgiving yesterday, and spent this evening getting ready for Christmas! The tree was adorably (if not artistically) decorated by the kids, and Jamie's still struggling with the garland around the fireplace. We also baked some Christmas cookies! You can't really tell, because we couldn't find all of our Christmas cookie cutters, and the kids mostly liked the blue and pink sprinkles, but they're having a ball!!!

All Tuckered Out

So my entire family is passed out on a Sunday evening. Aren't they cute? Funny, though, since they all had a full night's sleep and I spent last night in the Fairbury Walmart's parking lot, waiting to get a Wii!!!

So our church had its annual banquet on Sunday night, and a few people got together and did a Seinfeld parody skit. Jamie was George, and he gave his all - all his hair, that is. Check out what he did to his hair for the part!

Eli's New Look

So ever since Jamie shaved his head for charity, Eli's been talking about shaving his head. He's waffled back and forth, but tonight he decided to go for it! It can't be any weirder than the time his hair was orange, right? So here is bald Eli - still cute, just hairless (before and during photos thrown in for fun).

Home Group

We had a Home Group party at our new house last night - this is the whole gang (minus the kids)!

Ready for Church

I just thought they all cleaned up so nicely Sunday morning! Eli told everyone how Mommy got his new shirt for $1 at Walmart (in Fairbury)!

I found the flower girl dress that Emma wore in Regan and Katie's wedding 5 years ago - and it just fits Mickie! Doesn't she look like a beautiful mini-bride?

Halloween!!

We had a great time on Halloween. We trick-or-treated up and down our new block, then went to Chipotle for our free burritos (dressed as burritos, of course) and then to Southpointe mall for more trick or treating!! The kids got bags and bags of candy, and we all froze! They looked adorable, though.

The Living Room

Okay, it's been a looong time since we've posted, but moving is hard work! Plus we've only had internet here for a few days. So here's our living room - we have our eyes on a picture at BB&B for over the fireplace, but the candles work for now. And one of our rice paper shades was the wrong size (dumb Brylane). And the rug won't be here for a couple more weeks (Brylane again).
