Surprise from the Easter Bunny!!

Apparently the Easter Bunny lives in Norfolk, and sent a package to the kids today! After Eli got over his disappointment that the Skechers box didn't, in fact, contain "shoes that breathe" for him, the kids ripped into the box of candy and toys!! Eli has already put his entire Lego robot together! Thank you, Easter Bunny (Mama and Papa)!

Busy Weekend . . .

Yesterday afternoon Jamie and I went to Kansas City with our friends to go to another friend's surprise birthday party. One of our favorite babysitters stayed overnight with the kids, and took them to Horizons for church this morning, and then to the church's Easter Egg hunt. When we got home Mickie dozed off watching Emma and Eli play Wii!

Heritage School

All of the fourth graders in public school in Lincoln spend a day at Heritage School, pretending that they're in a schoolhouse from the 1800's. They get to dress up for the day, and take a lunch in a pail. the school has some costumes, but I decided to make Emma's pioneer dress, apron, and bonnet! Luckily I got it done last week before we all got sick!! I'm way too proud of it. And in a few years, Mickie can wear it too!

Eli's Trustworthy Award

Eli got an award for character at his school last week. Each class nominated just a couple of students for this award. Eli's award was for trustworthiness!
