Jamie Got a Job!!

Jamie got a job on Wednesday! He's going to do tech support for Digital River, which is a company out of Minneapolis that bought a local company here in Lincoln. They make software that helps online companies with their checkout, and also installer software. Jamie will be helping the customers that buy the software to use it on their sites. It's a great atmosphere - very casual clothes, catered lunch on Mondays, game room with Xbox and ping-pong, snack-stocked kitchen, profit sharing - he's very excited. Also - Jamie's best friend Ted works there. He starts November 26! Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts as he's been job-hunting!

Emma's Baptism

Horizons Community Church



It was a very special day for Emma. She wanted to be baptized at Horizons because it's the only church she has ever known. Emma will always have fond memories of Horizons. I think she is the one who is most affected by our decision to move on from this church. She really loves it there. It was very special to Steve, the Pastor, to be able to baptize Emma as well.

Afterwards, we had a lunch reception out at our house.

Actual Halloween

So the actual commencement of Halloween was slightly anticlimactic, since we had already done Boo at the Zoo, trick or treating at the Children's Museum, our own Halloween party, AND each kid had a party at school - but we still had lots of fun! We followed our traditional path of Chipotle (dressed as Chipotle food, of course - I'll try to get pictures later) then Southpointe Mall, and on to some friends' houses. Our camera died before we got too far, but here are some adorable pictures!!

This is one of the houses in our old neighborhood - where Ted and Andrea still live. Our three are with Tanner , and Alex, who lives next door to Ted & Andrea & Tanner.
