Our schizophrenic life . . . .

Okay, so this time last week we were getting ready to move into the new house in Lincoln this Saturday. In the last 6 days, the moving date changed, then the moving ADDRESS changed, and then the moving date changed back!!!
We are now moving to 8105 SW 27th St, just outside of Lincoln. It's an old farm house, with tons of land and lots of character. We ARE FOR SURE moving this Saturday!!! This move will allow us to get ahead financially so we'll be ready to buy the best house for our family in a year or two.

We now have video!!!

Finally got on YouTube and uploaded some video. Now that we have a camera that can actually take video, we can utilize this wonder known as YouTube. Maybe I'll start video blogging myself as I talk about world issues and the latest Death Cab album. Don't count on it. But I can show you some video of the kids eating spaghetti. They've obviously been taking etiquette lessons from their Dad.

New House!!

Okay, we know it seems crazy, but we are about to move in to our FOURTH house in one year!!! A year ago, we were still in the townhouse. In October we moved to the bigger house, in April we moved to Fairbury, and now we're moving back to Lincoln! This time, however, it's for good! Or for a while, anyway. We're buying this house from some friends of ours who are moving to Chicago! We're renting to own for a year, and then buying!!!

Omaha Zoo!

Emma's Girl Scout troop had an overnight at the Omaha Zoo Friday night, and she and I got to go! We got to walk around the zoo at night with 60 other Girl Scouts, sleep on the floor in the aquarium, and visit some inside exhibits in the morning! Saturday Jamie, Eli and Mickie, plus our friends Ted, Andrea, and Tanner met us at the Zoo for the day! Our camera died before I got any pictures, but luckily Andrea is a photophile, and she emailed us some of the pictures from the day! We're all exhausted, but it was a super day!

The 3-D glasses were from the IMAX movie.
